Hello there
My name is Charli. I found myself with a camera in my hand somewhere around age 6, and I haven’t seemed to put one down since! Raised in the desert, I learned my craft under saguaros drenched in sunshine. I met my husband in a little dusty Mexican town almost 20 years ago and began traveling this sweet world of ours by his side. Back stateside, what was always a hobby turned into a career and Kharisma Studios launched in 2007. I began with weddings and as the years went by, I followed my clients and began to add maternity and newborn. I found that family sessions are my jam, and have since narrowed my focus to bellies, babies and families. Shortly after this small photography business began, so did our very own family! We have two adventurous & fun-loving children who keep us on our toes and inspire every minute of everyday. We have recently uprooted our little familia & moved across the country from our beloved southwest to slow our pace of life a bit and spend some time under the Tennessee trees.
It is for this reason I do what I do. Moments are important to me. Having a family myself, I am drawn to the movement, emotions and energy of real life. I see beauty in the everyday, and strive to preserve it in an authentic and artistic way. From baby curls and tiny toes, toddler tickle sessions and toothless big kid smiles- it is my privilege to capture your family from its very beginning and my great joy to preserve your moments as your family grows.
